Wish that you become smarter than you ever have been before. If this works, you can continue being a wizard, and just ignore the last wish. If he screws you over again, you character is useless (can't cast spells), so retire him. Then 'retire' your DM.

I agree. Cut the shafts off and they become a lot more portable. Even if they're low quality, it's still iron that can be remade by the blacksmith.

I definetly agree some Baatezu would fit, being lawful and all. Manipulating the formians to their own ends, while appearing to help them, and in turn being manipulated themselves.

There were originally going to be 5 books, with a 10 year (in-character) gap between books 3 and 4, to allow for the younger characters to grow. However George decided to add another book to cover said gap, expanding the series to 6.
