I know there was another thread that kind of limped around this topic, but i was wondering if there are any books (WotC or 3rd party), or Dragon mag issues, with items, things, magical schemes to help out an ascetic character? I'm thinking along the lines of symbiotes, beneficial parasites...

apparently farther behind than i would care to think... that many are 10 lvl... WOW... I apologize for my prior post then.. I guess my eyes just NOTICED the ones that weren't... any comments from doppleganger folks out there on the pros/cons of warshaper would still be appreciated... thanks

How behind am i... I just started on pg 8 of this thread.. Strange to anyone else that all the PrC's in CW are 5 levels only? *shrug* Also... i have only done the rude-five-minute-flip-thru @ barnes and noble, so i don't have the book in my grubby little hands.. is the warshaper better/worse...

thanks for the info, guys... Obviously, as my munchkin-ing brain has proposed, to keep the MyTh the same thru epic levels, might be unbalanced... but the flavor of the class is that you gain spellcasting levels in each... so why would ANYONE take said MyTh @ epic levels...? It would make more...

where is that progression? in a book? online? I haven't read it.. but would be interested to see it. Thanks.

(This post is filed under the heading of "If I did my Math correctly") So... Any 10-level Prestige class may be continued into Epic-ness, correct? And... Mystic Theurge is a 3.5-DMG-included, 10-level PrC, right? Therefore... making a 30th lvl char able to be 25clr/25wiz???? lvls 1-3 = wiz...

Aura... I responded to that in my post... I understand the difference between the two attacks... but what about my question for the OTHER flanker... does he or does he not get the flanking bonus when acting after the "ranged attack"er in the round???

I believe that this comes down to the definition of a melee attack. If a character is toe-to-toe with an enemy (adjacent squares) and attacks him, that would be a melee attack, correct? If an archer (who is not 2nd level Order of the Bow Initiate) fires on an enemy who is in an adjacent square...

this might be like a Dodge variant.... Ranged Flanking (original, I know :D ) Prereqs: Point Blank Shot, Precise Shot, Dex 17+ Benefit: Anytime you are making a ranged attack upon an enemy who is already engaged in melee with your ally, and the last 5' of your arrow's path would pass through...

What if.... the enemy character in question WAS being flanked by two allies, and i was less than 30 ft away firing in? Would that situation allow for sneak attack damage to be added to my attack?

wish i could help.. my 5th level char that is on his way to MT, is kind of a special case... after a set of stat-rolls that made me cry in delirious happiness, my dwarven clr2/wiz2/mnk1 with CON of 20 took toughness and then "roll with it" from savage species (DR 2/-, stackable)... nothing like...

I'll admit it... I'm a little shocked that no one has mentioned (or at least, I didn't *notice* anyone mention) Anne McCaffery. Her novels of a world populated by dragons and humans, with a sci-fi genesis and a quasi-fantasy current era, are great. I read them for most of my years numbered...

even the stackability...? I can understand getting DR in 3 feats. That doesn't bother me... just the stackable, unlimited nature seems a bit off putting. That's all. Thanks for the responses, though.
