Did I miss this part of the OP? EDIT: Second question. So what player, in a low magic game, gets cajoled into the warlord? Third question. Wouldn't the feat delivery system work? Or a list of more maneuvers for the Battlemaster? Posters say this is not enough but I am not convinced.

While you are at it, make some more maneuvers for the Battlemaster that are warlordy and also make a compressed version that supports a warlordy subclass. Thanks

Not buying that. You can make an eldritch Knight subclass of wizard. Perhaps we can agree that something something has to fit within our own acceptable parameters in order for it to be acceptable.

Martial Support EDIT: Response predicted. But not to the degree that a warlord class would have. Preemptive question. Why not?

The overall take from reading these posts is that warlord players want a class that is specifically a support factor.

That is a question for those that think a warlord will bring synergy to the table.

This seems solid. I am odd when it comes to point buy. I don't let my scores go below ten unless I roll them below ten. Using the second array I come up with 16,14,11,10,10,10, which is doable.

I am participating, for the first time, in NaNoWriMo and my novel is based off a D&D campaign set in a homebrew world. It is going to be awesome! ahem. Anyways, I plan on posting the game transcripts so people can look at the dice rolls and see how the rolls moved the story.

But a less whiney post. I like to have a 16 strength on my wizards and I often give them a lance in the first three levels. They can still use it but they don't add their proficiency to hit. So I can concentrate on a buff spell and at will 1d12+3. I can move and stab and move.
