hmmm...do the other players seem bored with game or annoyed with the half-dragon character? Because a lot of what you do depends on that. Having said that, you could create a powerful dragon who is offended by half-dragons to the point of wanting to destroy all of them - they are abominations...

I very often play a bard for that reason - it came in handy in the Tomb of Horrors. :D And, our group tends to use the aid another ability (edit) - a lot.

LOL! Yay! We just finished this ourselves on Saturday. Everyone except the two rogues lost all their stuff as well, but somehow we managed to make it through. We had a really, really good time with it.

One player in our group did play a gay gunfighter in one of my games and another played an Oscar Wilde sort of character. Both were fun characters and were probably two of the best developed characters (background and personality) we've had.

I notice it too all the time. Any place where you can post "Where can I find X" and someone posts back with a (usually fantastic and helpful) answer within 20 minutes is a place I need to be. :)
