Thanks for posting the pic! I totally don't get it. It's awesome! ;)

[Humor] D&D Outsider: Naughty or Nice?

That happened a lot in my days of (old) Vampire LARPing, and I don't remember the system having interrupt-type powers. I blame gamer ADD. ;)

[Humor] D&D Outsider: Naughty or Nice?

A hilarious article by Jared von Hindman AKA OhGodtheRats. Dungeons & Dragons Roleplaying Game Official Home Page - Article (Naughty or Nice?) I'd play the Litterbug in a heartbeat. That one is just EVIL. :D

What to look for in 2011?

It's possible that it appears in the WotC Summer 2011 catalog. Maybe someone here has seen it at their FLGS?

What to look for in 2011?

The Wrath of Ashardalon and Conquest of Nerath boardgames. Those two are at the top of my list.

    2010 Retrospective: 1Q Products

Underdark (January) Bought it a few months ago, but haven't read it yet except for some monster entries. Player's Handbook Races: Dragonborn (January) Haven't bought this. Martial Power 2 (February) Bought it, read it, used it for a few characters in the group. I like it. Hammerfast...

    Backing up the CB Classic

You'd need to extract the patch to the CharBuilderFull_p directory, if I'm not mistaken.

More Classes Essentialized or more support for current classes?

Runepriest has 2 builds, Artificer got a 3rd build in Dragon #381.

    Common Ki Focus - Suggestions?

Fine, let's call it a guideline then.

    Common Ki Focus - Suggestions?

First off, it's not my rule; I didn't write that article. Second, the Gauntlets of Blood are also an exception to this rule. (Or should we call it a guideline? ;)) Third, maybe they realized that Iron Armbands of Power are simply too powerful to be Common, which they are IMO. YMMV.

    Preview: December and Beyond

Looks good. Necromancy is back, and I'm getting 2e vibes. <3 Now I'd like a usable class/build preview in Dragon Magazine so I can play around with it a bit. My impression is that you'll need the Heroes of X books to play these new builds. I guess at least some of the powers in HoS could be...

    Common Ki Focus - Suggestions?

There is, according to the Magic Item Rarity article by Mike Mearls. Common items lack activated powers. They usually confer a simple bonus or a static effect that you note on your character sheet and forget about. For example, a pair of gloves that grants a +2 bonus to Thievery checks makes a...

    Common Ki Focus - Suggestions?

Adding to the confusion, the Gauntlets of Blood don't have any powers, but they're Uncommon. :)

    Common Item Database

Yeah, I was kinda surprised by your comments in the Ki Focus thread regarding rarities, so I did a quick check of my books. Don't know why WotC included Uncommons there, though. Oh, well. Mistakes happen.

Wizards getting character choice feedback from CB

I got that impression as well. There are several things that need improvements and further support. (I dimly remember the promise of a third Assassin build that never materialized; instead we got the Essentials version. I suspect we'll see it in Heroes of Shadow.)

    Common Item Database

Nitpicks on my part: You listed both Delver's Armor and Hero's Armor as Common, but in my copy of HFK they're Uncommon. I haven't checked the other item categories.

    Common Ki Focus - Suggestions?

Ah, I wasn't aware of that. I was going by one of the Design & Development articles they released in addition to the Heroes of X magic items; I don't have the DM kit (yet).

Wizards getting character choice feedback from CB

I've played an Ardent (lvl 10), and IMO they're pretty much a fun-to-play psionic subclass of the Warlord.

Wizards getting character choice feedback from CB

Well, they haven't ignored the CharOps boards for this edition; quite the opposite, in fact. They've looked at and specifically nerfed unbalanced CharOps combinations, although it has taken them some time. E.g. Blood Mage forced movement damage, Orb Wizard stunlocks, Feychargers, infinite...

    Common Ki Focus - Suggestions?

IIRC common magic items are those without any powers on them, so Cascading Strikes would be uncommon by WotC rules. The other two you listed are fine, plus the Magic Ki Focus. The next common Ki Focus, Iron Body, is lvl 5 already, and that's it. All others are either uncommon or rare.
