Flurry of Blows to initiate a Grapple?

Since Flurry of Blows is an Attack action, is it possible to use FoB to initiate a grapple? If the answer is yes and you suceed with the first FoB attack, and then suceed in the grapple check, can you use the remaining attacks to Attack the grappled character (these would be at a -4 penalty?)...

The Night Below - your experiences?

I ran this all the way through (10-13 yrs ago) and it was one of the best campaigns I had run. I know people have a lot of complaints about book 2 which is combat heavy. However what I remember the most was the vast amount of diplomacy and negotiations that the party did which kept things in...

Rant: The Best Laid Plans... (Long)

Something that I used to do was over plot. I used to make way too many detailed PC related plans. This might work for some players, not all. Also, this plot point might seem like something that is reasonable and fun from your point of view. It might not seem that way for the player since he does...

I had forgotten to feed the ravens. Please excuse me Ser!" he says, eyes going wide with the sudden realization that he...

Interesting turn of events. Much sooner than I had anticipated. Helwyn regards the gathering. It is like a game of chess- a gambit, made too soon is a failed gambit

Preserving the Sweet Spot - A Rebuttal

I think it is both plausable and evidenced that high level adventures can be fun and challenging. However, higher levels create a different paradigm than levels 1-12. Adventures tend to move from fantasy, to the fantastic. I think this is more the issue for some people than anything else...

Savage Tide AP not intriguing me

I think you might be on to a very good point. My taste does run very "D&D classic" and the feel of Diamond Lake grabbed me from the begining and the AP was very "classic" in feel. Sasserine just did not grab me in the same manner and I agree that it might be a "feel" thing more than anything else.
