D&D 5E (2014) Official D&D Greek-Themed 'Mythic Odysseys of Theros' Setting Coming In May

I really would love to see a return to Al-Qadim and Kara-Tur (Maztica to a lesser extent).

D&D 5E (2014) Official D&D Greek-Themed 'Mythic Odysseys of Theros' Setting Coming In May

Yes that does look good, but I passed on it for the same reasons you stated. The artwork is amazing though.

WotC World Reveal of Baldur's Gate 3

Sorry - that was uncalled for. I am... passionate about the things I enjoy!

WotC World Reveal of Baldur's Gate 3

Seriously. There was more lore packed into that opening sequence then you could shake a stick at. It was a thing of beauty. Also ceramorphosis is naughty word horrifying.

D&D 5E (2014) Official D&D Greek-Themed 'Mythic Odysseys of Theros' Setting Coming In May

That would be cool, but as you know, Rome had a major infatuation with all things Greek, and they umm... "borrowed" so many elements of classical Hellenistic culture. It could almost be an add on to a Greek-themed book.

WotC World Reveal of Baldur's Gate 3

I love everything about this and that opening cinematic had some deep deep deep from the dawn of time D&D lore. Githyanki + Red dragon connection? AD&D Fiend Folio. Nautiloid? Spelljammer! Love, love, love this.

D&D 5E (2014) Official D&D Greek-Themed 'Mythic Odysseys of Theros' Setting Coming In May

Odd timing given the recent KS fulfillment of this excellent book: Odyssey of the Dragonlords Still... if you can't already tell from my avatar I am a big fan of the mythos so I am happy about this!

    D&D 5E (2014) Mythological Figures: Allan Quatermain

Artus Cimber seems to have been heavily influenced by this guy as well (by way of Indiana Jones).

    D&D 5E (2014) D&D Beyond Announces Combat Tracker

I've gradually made the shift from physical books to digital. I use D&D Beyond extensively and the PDFs for a whole slew of 3rd party products (Tome of Beasts, etc). I don't think I could ever go back to flipping through a stack of books. As for initiative though, I use folded notecards...

OD&D DMs Guild Treasures: 5 BECMI Modules That Deserve the Big Book Treatment

I concur. It even has a mass combat encounter and included counters/tokens iirc. It's wonderful.

OD&D DMs Guild Treasures: 5 BECMI Modules That Deserve the Big Book Treatment

I'd love to see a Tales From the Yawning Portal type book featuring BECMI modules. Rahasia most definitely deserves to be near the top of the list. My real dream though is a complete 5e update of the Desert of Desolation series (which saw a major update itself as a mega-module back in the day).

D&D 5E (2014) Rick and Morty vs. Dungeons & Dragons: A Review of Chapter 1

I thought it was wonderful. I picked it up with low expectations and instead found a love letter and homage to the history of D&D from its roots to 5e. Some of the Easter eggs are amazing.

    D&D 5E (2014) Anybody Seen/Played Frog God's Tegel Manor?

Maybe GM'ing a JG product... but I had no issues with most of the TSR modules I ran.

    D&D 5E (2014) Anybody Seen/Played Frog God's Tegel Manor?

I backed the KS for Tegel Manor for a couple of reasons: The original is a classic plain and simple and I was excited to see a modern conversion/update. Frog God puts out quality products I like lists, so I'll continue with that format. First, the good: The artwork is great The bestiary is...

D&D General Companies Cut Ties With Judges Guild After Owner's Racist Posts

We also have the right to cut ties with naughty words. They are free of course to spew whatever vile vitriol they want. I am free to not support them. I backed the Tegel Manor KS and I now regret that. The book itself is a terrible mess in my opinion (a whole different topic) for a FG book... as...

Paizo Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Video Game Kickstarter Live

Please don't confuse the MMO with Kingmaker, which was awesome but hard. I have to restart basically because I naughty word up the first couple of hours. The MMO was an unmitigated disaster, but Kingmaker (by Owlcat) is awesome and well done. This looks like a worthy KS to back.
