    Three Tiered License

Actually, the openness of the system is a significant factor in what brought me back to D&D. In some ways, it was a commitment that WotC wouldn't harass enthusiastic fans that could, and would, create some pretty phenomenal material. Yes, I know that wasn't exactly the intent of the...

[Dread] Jenga beat up my dice! My results from the indie horror RPG.

I just read Piratecat's review yesterday (yeah, I haven't been around much lately) and I love what I am reading! This game looks fun. Too bad my players don't want to try it this Friday. Something about wanting to see what they find beyond the bluesteel doors down in Ghul's Labyrinth this...

Do you think 6 months are enough for playtesting?

It's Acting! ;) WotC said they would be playtesting September - December. That isn't a whole lot of time, but with a strong project management team, a lot of things are possible. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt until they prove otherwise. But we are a week from September...

    David Noonan on playtesting experience

Would love to see that too. I would like to look over the guidelines and see if one of my groups would be a good fit for playtesting. Alas, children are making it hard for me to scour the site to find the application. If a kind soul would post the link, I would be most...

    Visiting the DC area

Rodrigo and I are meeting tonight at Bailey's Pub and Grill at the Balston-Common Mall. 5:30 or so. Just in case somebody wants to join us at the last minute.

Pretty tasty restaurant Rel took me to. But I hear tales of your jerked pork (Boy does that sound like an euphemism) so maybe you should bring some of that with you to the game day and talk Rel into a trade.

    Visiting the DC area

Well, given that my kids are still at the phase of not liking to try anything new, it probably won't be the food. Pictures of the area help though!

I am just getting ready to leave to meet a friend for a few hours. Let me get back to you later.

    Visiting the DC area

It was really cool to finally meet you and the wife Rel. I got back to the hotel at 1:31 AM, so it was a bit of a late night. But definitely worth it.

So any ideas for Wednesday? Anybody still up for Wednesday?

    Visiting the DC area

*laugh* Be that as it may, I probably won't take the time to find out. Along with vacationing I am also kind of scouting the area. I have a pretty full dance card while I am out there.

    Visiting the DC area

It took a bit to track down where the nearest Metro is. It looks like Braddock Rd. Food would be good. I'm not much of a beer person myself, but I don't have any problems with anybody else having a beer. Comfortable is what I am looking for. Someplace where we can hang out and have a laugh.

So who is up for Wednesday the 21st? What is a good place and time?

That would be cool. You have my email still? If not, you can hit me through my profile.

    Visiting the DC area

I suppose it would be possible. But I am visiting folks and if I got too lost, help is just a phone call away. ;)

    Visiting the DC area

You know Rel, I would be and I looked at the timing when I was planning the trip initially. The round trip time is a bit challenging. Mostly because the time I would make it down to your area would likely be a bit ackward before I would have to return to Alexandria. The saving grace is that...

    Visiting the DC area

Let's shoot for Wednesday then. I am staying in Alexandria and I am not too far from a Metro. But I will also have a car, so location isn't a big deal for me. What is convenient for other folks?

    Visiting the DC area

OK, I think Tuesday (March 20) or Wednesday (March 21) are the best nights for me right now. I can still juggle things around if that doesn't work for anybody else, but those are the nights that work the best.

    Visiting the DC area

Been a busy work week. I am trying to get my schedule worked out, at least partially, tomorrow (Thursday). I have a few different friends I am trying to meet out there so I just need to juggle everything into a coherent schedule. Hopefully by Thursday night I will know what nights look good. :)

Ceramic DM Winter 07 (Final Judgment Posted)

Congratulations to CarpeDavid! It was a bear of a story to write and there is a lot of commentary and discussion I want to participate in. Unfortunately, I have been short on time. It will wait for now I suppose. Hopefully I will free up a bit of time to feel like I am participating in the...
