    D&D 5E (2014) New familiars in Tashas

Mmmm. Those are both right up my alley. The Ice Cube takes me back to my WoW days, when I had the Oozling pet. One of the few pets that actually gave you a debuff, may my Raid Leader hated it when I tanked with that thing out. :p

    D&D 5E (2014) Psionics in Tasha

Well, then maybe this will allow psionics to die a noisy death. Would not affect me or the games I run in the slightest. Though I am sure some people would lament and gnash their teeth over it.

D&D 5E (2014) New class options in Tasha

Cool. Some of the features might be pretty useful given certain campaigns, and I definitely love most of the fighting styles. Unarmed, Thrown weapon, blessed warrior, are my top favs.

    D&D 5E (2014) Psionics in Tasha

Ugh, psionics again... Err! I mean, yeah! Hooray for those that actually want this! Though right now, these just look like spells that have the psychic damage type. Who knows if there is actually #Psionics coming? I also don't think it would be a terrible thing personally. No new system to...

Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden -- A Comprehensive Review

Not to mention we are talking about a world where monsters are real. If you live out in a rural area, and especially the frontier, you have to be ready and able to defend yourself. I grew up in a small rural town with 6 bars (maybe a population of 300 if being generous?) . So I totally see it...

    That is a possibility too.

Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden -- A Comprehensive Review

Personally, and this is coming from someone who is just this edition starting to run published adventures, I rank them at RotF, OotA, and then SKT. I love stories told in extreme conditions, or in unfamiliar landscapes. The sad part of SKT, was that I love giants, but the adventure really...

    The Boys season two (spoilers)

Well, we are mid-season so the downbeats make sense. Seems like Butcher is pulling out of depression and back to being committed to getting Becca out of there. And Starlight... I mean... yeah she is working to bring down Vought, so her 'supe' friends are going to like that. Though I think...

    D&D and the rising pandemic

Yeah. I mean... I should be dead right now right? I have had to wear a mask while working for months now. How am I still alive even!?!

    D&D and the rising pandemic

My favorite is the woman equating George Floyd having a literal knee being pressed against the back of his neck, to being forced to wear a mask, which she was presently not being forced to wear.

    D&D 5E (2014) How often do you make OA’s

Difficult to quantify like this. I use a homebrew rule that combatants in melee that roll 1 on their attacks leave themselves wide open, and allow enemies within melee with them to make an OA. Sometimes no one in melee rolls a 1, sometimes multiple 1s are rolled by multiple players/NPCs.

    Crusader Kings III

That awkward moment in CK III where you are totally paying attention to a Crusade and once the intense battling is over, you realize your character had been courting his own mother... It has gotten bad in our multiplayer campaign. We can't have any marital alliances for a generation or two...

    D&D 5E (2014) Moral Agency

Flamestrike got there first, but this is what I was going to point out. And that is close enough to cannon for me. I am down with allowing Demons or Fiends to redeem themselves. It is a terribly long and difficult road of course. I don't think I would allow aberrations though, especially the...

D&D General How Much Dungeon Crawling Do You Do?

I'd say very little. I landed on 10%. The thing is, even if there is a 'dungeon' they are usually pretty small. 4-6 rooms, if that.

    Crusader Kings III

Some cohorts and I are attempting to unify the Iberian peninsula. Pretty big battles with the Moors. And Navarre kept taking land as well, but were backed by the Byzantine Empress so we didn't really want to force that issue. Luckily they converted to Islam and Byzantium dropped them like a bad...

    New Battlestar Galactica

I will wait and see, but I am unmoved. A different story in the same universe. Not intended to be a limited series. And will be on the 'peacock'. None of those really excite me. I will have to be a story we care about, but I can't really think about much but a continuation of the 2003 story...

    TSR TSR's War on Fans

That's usually the way of it though, isn't it? He knew full well what could happen to IP if taken and not pursued. He knew that and in part bucked so hard as to prevent the same thing happening to his baby. You can see the same thing with other stuff, where people who take certain actions, and...
