Yeah, I felt like I was constantly trying to "fit a square peg into a round hole" when running a 5e game. The 5e game was adequate, but didn't really work for me.

In all fairness, that wasn't really a review. The stuff above are initial concerns that I have. OTOH, who cares? Do your thing. Are there Spell Duels? I think that was inspired by Dying Earth.
