    Modern Healing

You already get more then the normal 10% chance to stabilize yourself if you are knocked unconscious in D20 Modern. You get to make a Fort save DC15 to stabilize for a few hours or something like that. Yeah I know DC15 is hard for a first level character in any game but still, 25%-30% is much...

    Alignment Restrictions in 3.5

    Is D&D outdated ?

This is a reply to the very first post. Why would you want any company to come out with a book to tell YOU how to create a character background for YOUR character. Or how to even solve mysteries or explore a world. These are things that you should be coming up with, not that you get out of a...

    Need help with Prestige Class

Yep you could cast 9th level spells because you would have a caster level of 20th level. As for spell slots take what a sorcerer of 20th level has, take away spell slots for high arcana special abilities such as spell power and mastery of shaping, then add in the bonus spells that you get going...

What can/does Freedom of movement do?

Ask yourself this, if I animated a rope with an animate objects spell and then had it wrap around your legs would freedom of movement work? Of course not, it's just a secondary affect of what the spell did. All the spells that are listed under FoM's description directly impede movement. Stunning...

    Need help with Prestige Class

I'd go with the 15th level sorcerer/5th level archmage/5th level dragon disciple approach or at the least something along those lines. I don't like how they worked up the sor class so I rarely play them and don't know much good combo's for them on a powergaming point of view.

    Attacking while wind walking

The spell says it turns you into a cloud. Quite a harmless thing if a cloud started to attack you. If clouds were that dangerous then planes wouldn't be able to fly.

    How do Dragon's attack?

I believe the bite is at +19 and the rest are at +14. Pretty sure about that. Almost positive. But not quite. =op

What can/does Freedom of movement do?

Even under the influence of magic that USUALLY impedes movement. Just use better judgement here. A force cage or wall of force doesn't impede your movement what so ever, just stops you from going through a certain point, you can still go around it if possible. FoM only works on spells that have...

    D&D 3.x Alignment Restrictions in 3.5

I never said anything about might makes right or that you should commit evil acts if you have a "good reason". And yes, the acts themselves are the definition of whether something is good or evil. But we were talking morality, because that is what judges if something is evil or good. To be moral...

    D&D 3.x Alignment Restrictions in 3.5

mmmm, contradictions. To be concerned only for the greater good is to do anything to further it. Even if the rational behind it is the ol' Ends Justifies the Means philosophy. Hence, you just stated that neutral evil and neutral good are the same. They aren't. Neutral good is for the greater...

The finer points of creating an Undead Frost Giant

The (as wizards) is in parenthesis for a reason. It's to just mean that the HDx1/2 is the same (as wizards).

    Please rate the Archmage

The most broken PrC is the spelldancer, hands down. Nothing like having your spelldancer cohort empower a eagle's splendor until it's level 30 on your paladin. Mmmmmm, a 14 times empowered eagle's splendor.

    D&D 3.x Alignment Restrictions in 3.5

I am not saying anything noble about torture here but a neutral good character shouldn't have any qualms about it if it was for the greater good. Neutral Good is one of those alignments where the strictures of law and chaos just don't apply, it's whatever suites your fancy to get done what needs...

    Blink vs. Displacement

I personally always thought that the amount of times that a rogue can sneak attack a person in one round is insane. But then again that's one of the things that make rogues so attractive. I always liked the old backstab system better, was a lot more balanced game wise. Also most of the time if I...

    D&D 3.x Alignment Restrictions in 3.5

As for the monk, nope, can't do that, must be lawful (insert secondary alignment here). It just comes with the strict life style of the 3E DND monk. As for paladins. God yes I wanna see them be any good. Just silly that they can only be lawful good. I think that is just a stuck left over from...
