Song and Silence, for what it's worth, lists Profession (cartographer) as a prerequisite for the Royal Explorer class. Personally, as my Barbarian/Ranger has much better Wisdom than Intelligence, I have gone with Profession and pointed to that as evidence in favour of my interpretation ^_^

Actually, the idea was that "Once the flap is closed from the inside, the seraglio is sealed, and although they look to be of silk, the walls have the strength of stone." So it would provide the protection from missiles - and it doesn't need locks....

In the stat-block, fanfare is listed as "Fortitude negates." However, the description states "if the save is successful, the target is stunned for 1d4 rounds" (and a failure also deals damage.) The game-balance issues of a "stun-with-no-save" spell aside; has fanfare been clarified or errata-ed?
