Who’s fault is it when movies with money seem low budget?

Without knowing anything about it, I'm going to say the Rock was to blame.

Elon Musk Calls for Wizards of the Coast to "Burn in Hell" Over Making of Original D&D Passages

Originally I was told I'd 'Burn in Hell' just for playing D&D. Now, we're meant to be taking advice on what will get you to Hell, from this guy...?

Hasbro Confirms New Unannounced Dungeons & Dragons Video Game in Development

One of the guys behind Marvel Snap came from Magic the Gathering, so it's not that crazy an idea. Like Snap, if the game is good enough, I don't mind the monetization.

Hasbro Confirms New Unannounced Dungeons & Dragons Video Game in Development

Maybe they'll make a mobile game, full of things people love, like microtransactions. Honestly, I'd love to see them make a Marvel Snap, or Pokemon Pocket clone.

D&D 5E (2024) The new Warlock is so much better Thematically

I'm not sure you'll get much love here, given how this conversations has played out in previous threads. But I agree, I like that it opens up some more interesting options in terms of story and roleplay.

    D&D 5E (2024) No Appendix N Equivalent?

Remember when Strixhaven got announced/released and people said that if D&D was taking it's influences from Harry Potter the game was no longer for them?

Trailer Venom: The Last Dance | Trailer

These films are something of a guilty pleasure for me. I saw this when it came out a few weeks ago. I thought it was about as good as the first one. (I admit I thought Let their be Carnage wasn't great, in that it was missing the middle act) With The Last Dance I really liked all the desert...

D&D 5E (2014) How Do You Feel About the Rate of New WotC Game Content for 5E DMs?

Isn’t this exactly what they did for Ravenloft, only in reverse order? With Curse of Strahd being the adventure/campaign and Van Ritchtens guide to Ravenloft being the setting book with a short adventure.

D&D General A DMG for all of us

I'm a bit embarrassed to ask, but I've never understood the difference between modularity and optional rules. Wouldn't things like gritty healing rules be a module, or say Piety in Theros?

Dungeons & Dragons May Not Come Back to Greyhawk After 2024 Dungeon Master's Guide

Deck of Many Things has been getting left out of the conversation recently when people talk about the drop off in quality of late 5E products, and also when people say 5E doesn't support homebrew. Probably because it proves both those points incorrect. Underrated product in my opinion. (also...

D&D General Session Zero and Nobody Chose a Spellcaster

The beauty of 5E is that there’s so many ways to tailor a character to your needs as you level up. And if all else fails, there’s always the old fashion way of hiring NPCs.

D&D 5E (2024) Kobold Press posts 2024 DMG Hit Piece

The previous starter sets for 5E would still be fine for introducing new people that were thinking of picking up the revised rules (Or who had already done so).

D&D 5E (2014) How Do You Feel About the Rate of New WotC Game Content for 5E DMs?

I was happy with the speed throughout 5E’s first 10 years. It was one of the aspects I thought they nailed. It was slow enough to never feel bloated, but at the same time, after 10 years there now feels like enough to cover all my needs. With the backwards compatibility factor moving into the...

I thought it was a good retraction, I’ve already forgotten the whole thing.
