How often do you use the sourcebooks?

It actually depends on the sourcebook. I use WotC's splat books almost every session but that is because in my current campaign I am considering them Core books, thus allowing the players to use feats, skills and spells from them without any unusual requirements. Some of AEG's one word books...

DM's... do you identify with your NPC's??

Depends on the NPC, some are just cardboard cutouts, even my primary adversary sometimes and others I go into great detail. It really just depends on where my muse takes me. A good example of this is my current campaign most of the bad guys haven't leaped out at me as deserving development and...

    Do you use psionics?

Well so far I haven't had psionics in any game in which I've played or been the GM. As a result I haven't spent the time getting familiar with the 3e psionic rules, though after the once over when I first bought the book I found that I did like them better than the previous versions. In my...

    Mageborn

I'm doing some work on my homebrew and my co-creator and I decided that we wanted a lower magic world than what occurs when you run a Core Rules game. We don't want magic removed or even the option taken away from players we just want to make it more unique. As such I'd like to use the feat...

    Bard in need of songs/jokes/spells

Myself, I'm a big fan of limericks. Currently I'm GM'ing but soon the rafters will ring with my creations.

How long is your sessions, and how do I extend my?

We usually run about 4-5 hours once a week and then every Thanksgiving eve a marathon 12 hour session. We used to go 8 hours or so every week but getting everyone onsite and ready was a bit taxing so we reduced the time, even now we have the sporadic late start. Ideally I could play all the...

    book for paladins / celestials

I heard a rumor that Green Ronin was going to do a book for Celestials similar in vein to thier Legions of Hell and Armies of the Abyss books. Of course there's no mention of it on their web page so it may just be a rumor.

    Sexiest Trek girl

I was torn on this one, I really liked both Ezri & Jadzia Dax and I'm a big fan of T'Pol but in the end I had to vote for Seven.

    Wotc-map Survey

They didn't ask if I would spend my hard earned cash on the product, they just wanted to know which I would prefer so I voted book. Honestly I wouldn't buy it no matter what form it took but generally speaking I feel that way about most WoTC materials lately.

    City Campaign Advice

I'm well into my current Greyhawk campaign, but I have this habit of preparing for my next campaign well ahead of time. I'd like to run a city campaign on my next run and am looking for any advice I can find. It will be in Greyhawk, City of Greyhawk even, with some personal modifications...

ARGGGHHH!!!! You evil master of the cliffhanger!

    Who bought the Silver Munches?

Well as much as I'd like to prove the bean counters wrong I will not be buying it, nor will I be buying any future "Rums" release unless, and I hate to say this, it has crunch. I have found the Campaign guide, Monsters and Magic books all great but was extremely disappointed with Faiths (to the...

    Favorite Setting of All Time?

Other It works out this way: I loved Dragonlance but only as an observer (reader). That's really the only way that setting worked for me, but I really enjoyed it and think it is one of the best settings out there. Trouble is that it is also got to be right up there with having the most...

Sagiro's Story Hour Returns (new thread started on 5/18/08)

Dranko & Morningstar married!!! Was I sleeping through something when I read through the groups adventures on the other continent? Was there any foreshadowing of this? Now I'm gonna have to go back and reread that just to make sure I wasn't asleep on the job.

WotC Seeking Your Setting Proposals (was "Big Wizard announcement")

Okay I don't know if this question was answered anywhere, but I didn't see it in the quick search I made. One of my team is in Paris and I need to get his signature on a submission form. Will WotC accept faxed signature pages or should I have him get sheet mailed to me asap?

Will you submit a Setting Proposal

I'm submitting mine but I have no real hopes for it. As it has been pointed out the competition is going to be pretty intense. My wife even told me last night I had a better chance at winning the lotto (which I play twice a week) because at least there I have random chance in my favor. This...

    The Heretic of Wyre

While I am submitting my campaign world, I would not mind at all loosing out to Sep. I'd be such a good sport about it I'd buy everything produced for Wyre.

WotC Seeking Your Setting Proposals (was "Big Wizard announcement")

Wow and I was just wondering what I was going to do with my newly written players guide. What wonderful timing, now to sum everything up into a 1 page proposal.

    World of Greyhawk maps?

The Campaign Cartographer map is great! Whoever created it put a lot of time and effort into it. I have it printed and hanging on the wall in our game room in all its 36" X 48" glory (a fringe benefit of working with the latest and greatest HP large format printers).
