Dungeons & Dragons Adventure Game (1999) Still waiting on this one. This was my introduction to D&D and RPGs in general.

Yeah, I feel like that type of system is cool for normal events, but it kind of skips past the entire point of Free RPG Day.

I do not live near a full-on game store. There is what some might call a game store in town, but it is really just a glorified card shop. The store does seem to be branching out into other products like Bolt Action etc, but their RPG support is almost nothing.

The Dark Eye is a great example of a RPG and world where heroes do heroic things, but not everything is on a world-shattering scale.

I think it would be pretty neat if WotC had a constant article in Dragon+ and on their website where people can submit RPG conventions. Heck, EN World could do a monthly article like that.

I'm interested in the board games. I might have been interested in the Dungeon Set as well, but WizKids can't just sell that, they have to make it an incentive for their terrible (personal opinion) randomized miniatures model. Oh well.

Well, I DM a 5th Edition game, but all this debate on action economy reminds me why I prefer B/X and AD&D; let's roleplay, not roll-play.
