    Fire archomental

"Archomentals are primordial elemental beings of great size and power. Some (such as the Elemental Princes of Evil) are named and worshipped, while others are nameless and unknown outside the elemental planes. Fire archomentals have been sought after and imprisoned by dwarvish nations as their...

ok. Happier with 27 (5d8 + 5) healing and 44 (8d10) psychic damage. CR 24 is fine by me. 25hp for a fire elemental is fine.

I like the Purifying Pyre - 3 firepower sounds about right. Healing seems low - 22hp at that level of fighting is pretty insignificant...? Agree on cost/benefit problem with Create Fire Elemental as is - 20 points sounds much better.

    D&D General Bedlamite

Ok 5e book (Sigil and the Outlands) says, The Wailing Hollows are a network of wind-eroded tunnels that originate in the Gatemouth district and extend into Midtown. A haunting whistle pervades the pitch-black caverns, which mimic the ecosystem of Pandemonium. Although darkweavers prowl the...

    D&D General Bedlamite

So 5e planescape mentions an ore called Bedlamite that is found in/near Bedlam (outlands - near gate to Pandemonium). Was this new for 5e? If older, was there any lpre about its properties (or existence) in earlier editions?

Costs look sensible to me. Re Cleansing Flame - surely as it is a godling this would be 7th level spell or lower, or even 8th level spell or lower. Incite Ignition - I'd go with CON save to keep it simple (and physical).

D&D General Making magic items have a buff that puts them at risk of destruction

Interesting point - I might ask the players.

D&D General Making magic items have a buff that puts them at risk of destruction

Epic maths fail....yeah it's trying to find a sweet spot that makes sense.

D&D General Making magic items have a buff that puts them at risk of destruction

Hmmm...doesn't seem hugely high but much more value if you can choose after a critical I agree... I have a few 1-in20 risks in my campagin and I never seem to roll them

D&D General Making magic items have a buff that puts them at risk of destruction

Pondering this - current DnD has many magic items as near-indestructible, contra to AD&D days where they were only marginally less vulnerable to rust monsters, fireballs etc. Pondering the idea of a buff that might put them at risk of destruction - allows for more magic item circulation...
