I did Soumral's build using only the core rulebook despite having access to the other releases. Figured it was safer to do that. :)

I have those as well plus a handful of releases from Louis Porter Jr. Designs, and the Starfarer's Codex pdfs of the Witch Legacy Class and the Aeoncarnate Base Class. However, I stuck to the core rulebook when I did the rebuild for Soumral.

Oh well... I was going handwave the zero-edge stuff by saying it was a "keen" weapon. The armor I took was the most flexible towards being primitive of the choices that I had.

I had to spend my money somewhere and that seemed like a logical place to use some of it.

Yeah I bought the "ability crystals" to simulate the bonuses that would've been gained from magic items in D&D 3.x or PF. They did away with a lot of that stuff in Starfinder. Edit: Dropped Azlanti, Castrovelian and Akitonian and took Aglarondan, Chondathan and Cormanthan instead since Soumral...

I didn't know whwat to do about her languages known so I started off with the ones that were common to both games/worlds. When I ran out of those I picked a couple SF languages to fill out the remaining selections. I'll scrub a few of the languages and pick a couple from Toril instead. I don't...

I obeyed the rules. +10 Base, +4 Str, +2 Weapon Focus = +16 for the longsword; +10 base, +7 dex = +17 for the dagger (operative quality)

Her strength only grants her a +4 bonus. Weapon specialization grants a big part of the plus to damage that Soumral gets.

Work continues on Soumral but I do have her melee options done (see below). She's going to be a nightmare. Melee zero-edge longsword +16 (7d8+18 S; crit severe wound; analog) Melee zero-edge dagger +17 (6d4+11 S; analog, operative)
