D&D Movie/TV Honor Among Thieves takes the Hugo for best long-form presentation

The movie had the worst possible release date: a week after John Wick 4 (not the best movie, but still a beloved franchise) and a week before Super Mario Bros, surely a success, but the magnitude of it was understimated. Has the D&D movie published in more calm times, it would at least gained...

D&D 5E (2024) How extensive (if any) will be the PHB errata?

I've noticed, in the preview, that there were a lot of improvements on many things, but some spells have still errors and some "bad" combo seems to exists. Knowing the modus operandi of WotC, do you think they will release an errata, or they wait a little before doing it? Do you think, based on...

I like the Doom soundtrack. Recommend me more instrumental metal.

Rise of the triad (the new version) have some really good metal ost

Trailer Batman: Caped Crusader Season 1 - Official Trailer | Prime Video | DC

Barbara seems older than BTAS, so maybe Timm is still cooking it for next seasons...

D&D 5E (2024) Have the 2024 PHB Reveals changed your intentions re: purchasing D&D 2024/25?

I was waiting for a reprinting/boxed gift set to get them togheter with some the errata, and still will do. But it seems that there are still some of the troubles that there were in the 2014 PHB. But, with a lot of the rules migrated in the DMG, maybe the 2024 DMG will be the only needed...

    D&D 5E (2024) I just got a 2024 PHB From Gen Con. AMA!

May I ask about one thing? It's there a descrittive index of spells? One sentence that summarize every spell? I know playing the game you learn the spells, but would be fantastic to have a quick answer to "what spells do in the lists" without going back and forth in the book? Thank you!

Which Edition of D&D (or OSR Ruleset) Has the Best GMing Advice?

Never runned it, but read a couple of time, Basic from BECMI seems an awesome way to start people without experience (no pun intended) to play D&D. For 5th edition, I think that the "missing" book from the core books is "So you wanna be a gamemaster". It's that good, I think that merging that...

    D&D 5E (2024) Standard vs Alternate covers (+)

Standard, but I would get the alternate ones: I will wait a little for buying the core set, just to get a late print with errata, but obviously the alternate will be only early runs, sadly :(

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 Player's Handbook preview: "New Spells"

Have they mentioned of a index of spells? A table with all spells, ordered alphabetically, with a one sentence description, for quickly lookup?

Spoilers TV Shows with Great Endings

Same, and I add also Game of Thrones on this. I'm not watching House of Dragons until some one tells me "This is good, and the ending is a blast". So I'll wait a lot of time, seems...

    D&D 5E (2024) What's the future of Xanathar and Tasha? (+)

Because those are not just text to be ported/integrated, they had a lot of handouts that takes "space". A lot of dm toolkit are text that updates / superseede the original text (encounter builder, traps, downtime in Xanathar) or are small text or essentials ones, like Session 0 and Parlaying in...

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 D&D character sheet, what do you think?

One of the least things I like in the official character sheet is the items section. Put some boxes with rows for different containers, like backpacks. Also put the strenght emcumbrace limits in the sheet. So it would be easier at the table to keep track of it.

    D&D 5E (2024) What's the future of Xanathar and Tasha? (+)

The "plus" spirit is because a lot and a lot of threads derailed first in what retrocompatibility means, the if rules from versions can be mixed and matched, then people going for 2014 or 2024, and starting arguing for pages and pages of forum thread. The spirit here is to understand what these...

    D&D 5E (2024) What's the future of Xanathar and Tasha? (+)

I was thinking that until last year, Xanathar, Tasha and Mordenkainen were considered a "rule expansion", getting their nice case and so on. We know that Mordenkainen will be almost all usable (the "races" will have some rules to convert them, I think it will be easy), but the other two? For...

D&D 5E (2014) D&D Beyond: No More À La Carte Purchases But US Customers Can Buy Physical Books

Maybe the reason to remove a la carte is because in September 2024 WotC don't want you to buy just your new class/subclass/spell to rebuild your character, they want you to buy the whole PHB. Just my 2cents...

    Malware from the ads?

No, I'll explain better: your DNS in your system is pointing to the one in your router (because is a 192.168.xxx.xxx address). Then the next step is the one inside your router, and for that you need to enter in configuration page of your router, but you should check in internet the right...

    Malware from the ads?

Then you should see if your router goes to some well know DNS server. Some attackers enter the router and modify it to inject malware on some pages. Rare, but not impossible

    Malware from the ads?

Just to be sure: is your router also clean? Check via "ipconfig /all" command line if the DNS is set to a know address like google one 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.
