What videogames are you playing in 2025?

Civ 7: Released 6 months too early but I like the core tile puzzle and everything else is getting better with patches. BG3: Still in Act 1 but loving it. TMNT Shredder’s Revenge: Play this coop with my youngest and happy memories are being made. I’m looking forward to the Marvel Cosmic Invasion.

James Wyatt On Dragon Delves' Solo Adventures

I’m not that well versed in solo play but I assume that can be achieved for these adventures by using something like Mythic? With this being a new era for D&D it’s my hope that they start mixing in more styles and influences; especially with 3rd party products being sold on DnD Beyond.

Jeremy Crawford Also Leaving D&D Team Later This Month

Thank you for all you've done Mr Crawford, I've greatly enjoyed your work.

D&D 5E (2024) WotC Unveils Dragon Delves' Eclectic Art Styles

Only a page of each but I love this new approach. Will be interesting to see how they handle dungeon maps and exploration.

D&D General Dragon Delves To Feature Two Adventures "Appropriate For Solo Players"

The more I see about this book the more excited I’m getting. Varying the art styles is wonderful and allows different artists to be featured, using the opportunity to showcase classic art is even better. Look at the example page where they show instructions for preparing the adventure, that is...

Yo Ho, Yo Ho, A Review Of The Wildsea

The title says Ironsea but the article reviews Wildsea. What am I missing?

    D&D 3.x A vaguely remembered prestige class

"Vermithrax Pejorative" why is the word Pejorative part of its name? This is breaking my brain. Does it suggest the dragon has a more positive name?

    D&D 5E (2024) What are your 2024 houserules?

So far I’ve allowed Weapon Masteries not tied to a specific weapon - if they make sense. One mastery per attack.

    D&D 3.x A vaguely remembered prestige class

My 7 year old told me her next character would be “someone whose father taught her how to use nunchucks” and the Iajutsu Master may end up being good inspiration for such a “singular” concept.

    D&D 3.x A vaguely remembered prestige class

Knight of the Raven sounds fun. It’s like having an enhanced familiar on a Cleric. I also enjoy Clerics and Paladins and have to watch myself to not only play them if the opportunity arises.

    D&D 3.x A vaguely remembered prestige class

It’s the Fang of Lolth, thank you! I’ll check out the other too. Is there a prestige class you wish would become a 5e subclass? This one is perhaps a little too niche but I’ve always enjoyed the lore.

    D&D 3.x A vaguely remembered prestige class

In college I was reading some 3e material though I never played until 5e. Something that stuck in my memory was an amulet that would slowly turn the wearer into a spider though also grant certain abilities. Was this a prestige class? If so, what book was it in?

Shadowdark Western Reaches Stretch Goal: New Classes

Some of my fondest D&D memories are fighting with a lance on horseback (it was actually a giant goat). To each their own.

Shadowdark Western Reaches Stretch Goal: New Classes

d4 1. You were sent to the dungeons for an ill timed joke, they never said which one. 2. You've always wanted to laugh somewhere with a nice echo. 3. As you walk you hear tiny bells chime, you keep following the chimes. 4. You are still pulling that rope you were miming, it dragged you all the...

Shadowdark Western Reaches Stretch Goal: New Classes

I picked Jester and Psion. There was a Monster Monday that was an evil Jester and I think SD could have a wicked take on the concept. I picked Psion but I’m doubting my choice. I’m not sure I want spells rather than a set of fixed abilities that are roll to use, with a mishap table but not...

D&D General Should Gnomes be Tiny

Regarding the rule issues, it is already possible to cast Enlarge/Reduce and pick the latter option on a Small creature so it is not like WotC is unwilling to go there.

D&D General Should Gnomes be Tiny

Going with something optional/temporary it would provide a level of symmetry to the new PHB where the Goliath can become Large for a limited time if the Gnome can become Tiny. I’d enjoy this much more than the gadgets that mimic Prestidigitation.

D&D General Should Gnomes be Tiny

I would give them the ability to move through small spaces like Plasmoids can but without squeezing.
