I think they've done it once since the pandemic and wound up with a COVID-19 breakout, so they switched it to virtual the following year and haven't resumed in-person since. I wonder if cost effectiveness is also a factor.

Ah, I misread the question and thought we were just talking about new D&D tie-in novels! Some light googling suggests it is mostly set in "Shatterspace," with the protagonist having grown up on an asteroid, so it seems no Realms here. Carry on.
