Truth be told, the Icewind Dale region was always minor and sparsely detailed. There isn't much space there. Heck I'd say the CRPGs are better.

Honestly, the imagery of the classic settings is a great part of them, especially Dark Sun with Brom and Planescape with DiTerlizzi (though I am partial to Dragonlance Dragons as well:) ).
