Yeah, the price debate does not really mean anything to me since i don't use Beyond I don't know what is typical or acceptable for that platform. Most RPG stuff continues to be woefully underpriced because gamers are, by and large, cheap, so folks creating valuable material are not being paid...

I think that overstates it by quite a lot. There are tons of "encumbrance" solutions out there, ranging from spreadsheets to pure handwavium and everything in between.

I'm a big fan of curated random.encounter tables. This particular Dark Forest possesses certain traits, so it's encounter table should be distinct.

I personally don't think any good comes from any discussion of such issues in RPGs that originates outside of the industry and fandom. We absolutely do have things we have to reckon with, but letting agitators of any persuasion frame the discussion based on non-gamer perspectives is just playing...
