Goodman Games Revives Relationship With Anti-Semitic Publisher For New City State Kickstarter [UPDATED]

The wildest part of this is the timeline means that GG was working with Judges Guild while Jennell Jaquays was still alive.

Spread the word everywhere you can. My FLGS with the "Protect Trans Kids" sticker in the window is probably not gonna like this.

Like it or not, there is a distressingly large contingent of old-school gamers for whom this will not be a problem.

Worth noting that neither of the younger Bledsaws have stopped posting racism or Holocaust denial, either, so it's not like this is a case where they showed any remorse or willingness to improve themselves. They're still actively making the hobby (and the world) a worse place.

Goodman Games Revives Relationship With Anti-Semitic Publisher For New City State Kickstarter [UPDATED]

And, as has been stated in a previous thread about this, Judges Guild was to use the money from Frog God Games' publication of Tegel Manor to fulfill the then-late CSIO Kickstarter, and they didn't. I wouldn't take them at theor word now.

Except for the thing where they talked about it in their AMA as if it was something they were ashamed of. That kind of confirms that he was following her for pretty much the reason you'd think. I get that, yes, there can be outliers, but the odds are the odds for a reason. And in this case, the...

In a semi-recent reddit AMA, I believe this person referred to their following of Owens as a "dark" or "confusing" period, something like that. I understand your point, but when it comes to someone following individuals who are primarily known for a certain type of commentary (Owens, Andrew...

Not arguing with you per se, but unless Troll Lord takes a similarly dim view of all political statements by employees, they absolutely are taking a position. The reason people found out about one of the owners being a Candace Owens fan is that he was following her on his Facebook page, which...

Without derailing the thread, I remember one of them was a fan of Candace Owens (though IIRC they have since backtracked on that in some way), and Troll Lord reprimanded an employee who had been pro-vaccine or pro-mask on social media. There's more to that last one than I remember, but it was...

Wait a minute... so Judges Guild already got money from another licensed Kickstarter that they were supposed to use to deliver their failed CSIO Kickstarter, and they just... didn't?

Thinking that racists are a) acting in good faith, and b) can be reasonably and/or constructively debated is a very dumb, very dangerous idea, that often results in... looks around at all of this I'm also not a fan of this thinking because it puts the onus on non-racists to somehow be...

Oh, yeah, I don't think there was any kind of ill intent with that title.

Judges Guild had some... odd titles. Not to mention Inferno, which had a demon that would try to rape female characters.

According to some of the commenters on the failed CSIO KS, Judges Guild are quietly honoring refund requests. Might be worth a try. Of course, it might be a bunch of hooey.
