Who cares about teleporting people into falling damage? That might come up once in a campaign, if ever. The ability is amazing because it enables you to actually hold aggro as a tank, something every other subclass in the game lacks.

I'm going to agree to disagree with you there. You break concentration, dispel it, counterspell it in the first place, etc. You don't deal 341 damage just to dispel one magical effect. That's silly.

DnD Beyond allows you to take 7 Epic Boon feats on a level 19 Fighter. Their 2024 character builder is still a work in progress to be overly generous.

I've played an Artificer in short campaigns and it's super fun out of combat but just pretty weak in terms of damage. And it's straight garbage at Level 1-2, basically unplayable until subclasses at Level 3, I would never play Artificer unless the adventure started at Level 3 or higher

It always was. Spamming Eldritch Blast was never a good strategy for doing good damage except that it's a solid backup option when your primary damage source is unavailable (out of range, out of spell slots, easy enemies not worth the resources, etc)
