    'Origin' of Your User Name

pity I felt sorry for the d12. It totally got the shaft in third edition. You don't need it unless you carry a battleaxe or are playing a barbarian. And it spins REALLY well.

    [NWN] Persistent Worlds

Does anyone know of a website that reveiws or details persistent worlds for Neverwinter Nights? There are so many to choose from and I don't have time to try them all. If there is such a site I would be willing to write a review or two.

What book do I need next?

okay Get the Forgotten Realsms Campaign Setting. Even if you aren't going to play in the FR it is just chock-full of goodness. New spells, feats, prestige classes and lots and lots of ideas to steal for ANY setting. Plus, it is, in my opinon, the best book WoTC has published period.

Epic Level Handbook - Use in game

I would like to hear about everyone's experience with the Epic Level Handbook in play. Have you had fun? Has every player in the group enjoyed 20+ level play? If they haven't - why not? I ask because my group will be there in about a year and I would like to starting thinking ahead in terms...

    d20 swashbucklers, swords and sorcery

Lets say I have my DnD rules down pretty well and now I want to run a short campaign in a sort of Three Muskateers meets Brotherhood of the Wolf meets Last of the Mohicans kind of setting [with magic]. There will be guns and magic and cannons and swords and all that. Heavy armor will probably...

    DM needs some tips please

paperwork This has helped me to shorten prep time: Get two folders, any folder will do. Lable one "PCs" label the other "DM" In the PC folder keep the character sheets, any handouts they've recived from you, any maps they've drawn, etc... After each session, take these back up and put them...

    What about Xander?

not in the system Xander is lucky and resourcesful. If you have played the Buffy board game, Xander's neat thing is that he can carry two "help cards." One could create a new class - the lucky hero - for Xander.

attacking with two weapons/ holding two weapons

Okay, lets say you have a dual-wielding ranger named Bob with all the nice dual-wielding feats. He has a longsword in his primary hand and a dagger is his off hand. Its the surprise round of combat and Bob gets to attack once. He attacks with his longsword. Does Bob use his regular attack...

    Unearthed Arcana [Need pic]

Now calling all the old men (and women) on the board. I once owned Unearthed Arcana and now I don't. I regret this fact now. Can anyone tell me where I can find a picture of the tightrope-walking theif-acrobat from the pages of UA? Gracias.

Now presenting his royal majesty.... Has anyone noticed that the little horn theme NPR has on All Things Considered Sounds a little like the processional music for a very small and meek king? da--DA--da-da-da-da-Da-daaaaaaaaa.... Nice story too -- I can tell my wife there are 6 million D&D...

    Clerics rule in NWN

yep - I just finished today with a cleric 13/ranger2 and the Barbarian Henchman. Both charatcers spent much of their time in stoneskin and improved invisibility. Fun game [but icewind dale was better].

    describe your kill

Here's a house rule my group has been using on and off for a while. It sort of leaves spellcasters out of the loop but we're still working on it. When you kill a bad guy [drop them below -10] on a critical hit you get to narrate what the death looks like. This helps get the players involved...
