WotC Vecna: Nest of the Evil Eye--Deets On The Prequel Adventure

Yes, if you pre-ordered the main adventure. WotC is on West Coast U.S. time, so likely not for a few more hours.

    Trailer Fallout - Official Trailer

    I enjoyed eps 4 & 5 much more than 1-3.

    Trailer Fallout - Official Trailer

Binged the first 3 episodes last night. No spoilers. I like it but don't love it. The production design (and production value) is incredible. The performances are uniformly excellent. The writing and directing is shaky, I think. The games are violent, but rarely sadistic, which the show...

D&D 5E (2014) Help With Githyanki Adventure Idea

Have you checked out Rrakkma, the githzerai/githyanki adventure WotC released digitally when Mordenkainen’s Tome of Foes came out? P sure you can still get it as a PDF on DMsGuild.

D&D General D&D Live Play Dimension 20 At Madison Square Garden

Hasbro never claimed there are currently 50 million D&D players worldwide. They claimed that an estimated 50 million people have played D&D since the game was created 50 years ago, which is obviously a very different claim. The audience for actual play D&D is enormous, which is self-evident to...

D&D 5E (2014) Descent Into The Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth Is The First Of Several Single Session D&D Events

Without spoiling anything, I'll say that the tournament scoring included with Tsojcanth (while very fun) has very little to do with tactical decisions!

WotC Hasbro CEO Chris Cox talks about D&D on NPRs Here & Now. Topics include Layoffs and OGL.

I didn’t think he had a great answer at all to the “how can you receive a huge bonus when 20% of your employees were laid off” question.

They did, but at least the questions themselves were reasonably tough.

D&D 5E (2014) GM: Who Do You Target? [READ OP BEFORE VOTING]

I probably take out the cleric. At this point, the BBEG is hoping to escape, and doesn't want the party pursuing, and REALLY doesn't want them pursuing with all 4 members.

    D&D 5E (2014) Rank your favorite D&D classes

Bard Rogue Warlock Paladin Fighter Ranger Wizard Artificer Cleric Sorcerer Druid Monk Barbarian Note: I don't actually dislike any of them. Subclass matters a lot for Rogue, Fighter, Monk, and Druid.

D&D 5E (2014) Free 'Descent into the Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth' Adventure on D&D Beyond

It's very unlikely that most groups would comprehensively explore the whole place. You're pretty much just trying to find the entrance to the lower level.

D&D 5E (2014) Free 'Descent into the Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth' Adventure on D&D Beyond

It seems like a very fun old-school tier 2 adventure. I have the old 1E version and this is largely an improvement on it. I also like the tournament scoring rules! A lot of combat and a lot of traps. It's a total dungeon crawl, but there's some cool environmental stuff and fun areas. The...
