D&D 5E (2024) Is 5E better because of Crawford and Perkins leaving?

 Posted it twice. Go back and re-read some.

D&D 5E (2024) Is 5E better because of Crawford and Perkins leaving?

Provide me a citation saying "ECMO3 is right" and I will concede. What I provided was sufficient. I'm not going to play your silly game of finding the exact wording you choose to put down or else you're right.

D&D 5E (2024) Is 5E better because of Crawford and Perkins leaving?

This is what I mean by you just reading to argue and not understand. And I quote..........................again! "you show signs of wear, such as cuts and bruises." Do you understand what "such as" means? And I quote.......................again! "An attack that reduces you to 0 hit points...

D&D 5E (2024) Is 5E better because of Crawford and Perkins leaving?

The mind flayer would cause no physical damage. The dragon will not even hit the PC until half hit points or lower, and won't directly strike until 0. Same with guiding bolt. It misses until half hit points, doing luck/skill/etc. damage, then causes minor things until 0. I quoted it. Don't...

    D&D 5E (2024) WotC Should Make 5.5E Specific Setting

An army of high elves with firebolt and other offensive cantrip would probably destroy them.

It's not 5e, either. Or 4e that I've heard. Or 3e. Or 3.5e. No edition of D&D has done that to them.

Riiiiiiight, you're bloodied(cut), but not bloodied. Give me a break. Do you have a real counterargument? I quoted how and said how. But since you're reading to argue and not to understand, you of course "missed" it.

Not according to everything I've heard. Do you have any specifics to give?

D&D 5E (2024) Is 5E better because of Crawford and Perkins leaving?

Nothing there contradicts me dude. Trying reading to understand and not just to argue. As for the bloodied condition, did you not see the part in 5e where you show cuts and bruises at half hit points. That's blooded. 🤦‍♂️ PS You just disproved your own argument there. If you aren't...

Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

Yep. It's Mel's Diner, which I've eaten at in Hollywood. The food was good, but overpriced for the quality. I haven't been back.

D&D 5E (2024) Is 5E better because of Crawford and Perkins leaving?

The rule is clear. The hit that drops you to 0 is the one that does the real damage. Until then you are completely unscathed or suffer minor bruises/scratches. There are exception, but those are for things like poison stingers which do have to do minor damage to you before you would normally...

D&D 5E (2024) Is 5E better because of Crawford and Perkins leaving?

Yes it will, because if they have hit points left, it does not strike the heart or even the body if they have enough hit points. The person rolls over in their sleep and the attack "misses" for the amount of damage the attack does, or some other luck, skill, divine intervention hp damage...

    D&D 5E (2024) WotC Should Make 5.5E Specific Setting

Not having a breath weapon is not backed up by 5.5e anywhere. Having one IS backed up by the 5.5e PHB which states that the traits a PC gets is from the race. They are not something special for the PC only.

    D&D 5E (2024) WotC Should Make 5.5E Specific Setting

No rule replaced that rule. A statblock is not a rule. Things in the stat block are rules and no rule replaces the one from 5e. There is no new version of the rule that races get their abilities The 5e rule from PHB Page 177 is... "The peoples of the D&D multiverse hail from different...

    D&D 5E (2024) WotC Should Make 5.5E Specific Setting

What rule says the 5e rules for races don't apply? Simply making a new stat block for 5.5e doesn't contradict the 5e rules that if I make an elf bandit, it gets elf abilities, unlike a human bandit. Only specifically new rules change the old ones.

    D&D 5E (2024) WotC Should Make 5.5E Specific Setting

You aren't understanding. We are human. We can ONLY think as a human does. We can pretend that we know how a dragon man would think and act, but we can only do so as a human thinks, not as a dragon man thinks. Therefore, all such pretenses are essentially playing dragon men, elves, cat...

    D&D 5E (2024) WotC Should Make 5.5E Specific Setting

No it can't. If a halfling takes a dragon claw it is making death saving throws. Just like an orc. Just like a human. Hit points that allow a halfling to survive a dragon claw attack mean that the claw misses or if the halfling ends up low enough on hit points, barely grazes it. We don't...

    D&D 5E (2024) WotC Should Make 5.5E Specific Setting

If it simply doesn't mention the modifications from the 5e MM, then the 5e MM are still the default. This is from the PHB and shows how the 5.5e rules work. "But the book contains many new or redesigned elements, and the versions of things in this book replace versions from older books."...

Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

You say... "Dark Helmet: No, no, please leave me alone!" And if you do decide to do it, at some point say... "Dark Helmet: What the hell am I looking at? When does this happen in the movie?"
