Armor doesn't make you dodge better, but a high AC can have much the same net affect as dodge without burning an action. So it can be a "better" dodge even if it doesn't "make you dodge better".
The cloak of displacement is the best dodge in D&D if you have an attunement slot.
Complacency kills, hard to pay close attention when doing repetitive work for years or decades. Wonder what Bart would have wished for? Well besides a Butterfinger lol.
I'm a fan of the potions having less potency and or expiration after a while. This does come with some tracking/inventory drawbacks so is not used in all of our games, but when we have a group into more extensive inventory tracking it has been fun
I'd suggest checking out the lock picking lawyer on YouTube to see what a practiced lock picker can do with a variety of unknown locks. Be warned it is a rabbit hole.
