5E ONE PAGE ADVENTURE: The Devil's Maze

This ONE PAGE ADVENTURE features a fiend-stalked labyrinth and revolves around a classic fantasy tale. The powerful mage NERZIKON THE TRAVELLER constructed his sanctum (the Devil’s Maze) long ago and as his legend faded into history so too did knowledge of his personal nexus of planar byways...

Playtest (A5E) Level Up Playtest Document #2: Fighter

We could always just call them "Style A", "Style B", "Style C" and so on. Unless people have a strong preference for "Style 1", "Style 2"....* *No we won't do that! Tradition names are a super-subjective thing, though, so folks should be aware that what they like the next person will like the...

RPG Crowdfunding News – Heckna!, Creatures, Skullkickers, and more

Yeah. The average pledge on that is pretty large at $91 currently. Miniatures and boxed sets do that! Plus minis are always popular.

General (Anecdotal) conversations with Asian gamers on some problems they currently face in the D&D world of RPG gaming

I'd say alt-accounts to get around bans are against the rules, but this is like your 7th alt. Give it up, dude. You can't just sneak into somebody's house after they asked you to leave.

Last week we released the playtest candidate for our advanced Fighter class. This is the accompanying survey. As always, it’s OK if you don’t like things about this playtest. That’s the reason we have a playtest process, and the reason we send out these surveys. The data we get from these...

    5E 3 Classic Settings Coming To 5E?

    Only Eberron.

Level Up (A5E) Holywood Heroics: substituting for Dex

One thing we are discussing is using other ability scores for initiative based on the situation. Initiative isn't as powerful as it seems, though; once you've had your first go, it's just a cycle.

General What do do when a setting doesn't have magic?

Hmm. The noble, gunfighter, savant, and tinkerer spring to mind. Maybe the monster tamer? Depends on if non-magic includes non-fantastical creatures (in which case we're ruling out the Monster Manual anyway).

    5E 3 Classic Settings Coming To 5E?

Sure but FR is much more than the Sword Coast. By that reasoning, it might be the Forgotten Realms!

General What do do when a setting doesn't have magic?

I'd play a game more suited to the setting than D&D! Adventures in Middle Earth for 5E does low magic quite well, but it's not completely no magic,

What programs do you use when playing on-line?

Zoom, basically. Roll20 if we need a battlemap. But Zoom does the heavy lifting. You can sit there with a character sheet and dice just like in real life.
