Pathfinder 2e Character Chronicles: Matthew Lillard & Paul Shapiro (Beadle & Grimm)

Thats what I was thinking. I GM PF2E and the player deaths I have seen would make these books pretty useless if they are a single use product. They are however a very nice looking product.

Pop-Up Terrain: Is This The Best Thing Since Sliced Bread?

I think it's a good idea as well, definitely would be easier to store.

    Gamer Milestones

The best investment I've made with my gaming room is to put the tv into the table and just project the maps through Arkenforge software. This has saved me so much time and money buying/printing maps and allows me to add effects or place spells like ice walls easily onto the map. I love terrain...

I have players in my group that are from different walks of life that I have gotten to know that otherwise I never would have.

Worlds of Design: How RPG Tools Have Changed

I use a table tv and mixture of pawns and minis. I also use a commercial grade sound system you can partially see for sound effects and music. Crit cards and monster cards. This has a higher entry cost and a partially larger prep time but my games are highly rated by my players. I have never...

Teens in Space Wins Best RPG Origins Award

Yeah my vote would be for PF2 but I'm biased as that is the one I play most. I'm also not an industry analyst or well versed in the sales numbers of the winners of the origin awards. I'd be interested to know how the winners are determined though. Edit: Nevermind I read into it some more and...

Teens in Space Wins Best RPG Origins Award

Never heard of it. Looked at the winners and again I don't really think some of these awards for the industry are really relative to what is actually being purchased or the best products. Contrast paints I do agree with however, they were a great product that sold well. This is just my opinion.

Starfinder Starship Operations Manual: A Review

Starfinder really is a gem of a game and this book really fixes the whole starship combat conundrum the system faced.

Owen KC Stephens' Tabletop RPG Truths #4

@Morrus I'd like to see some of these wonderful artists being given the chance to showoff their stuff on your site here. Monthly Maps Showcase or something.

Owen KC Stephens' Tabletop RPG Truths #4

Try out Heroic Maps or Forgotten Adventures or Seafoot Games. Cze and Puku are a bit more cartoony but one of the more popular mapmakers. I agree that 0one and Dyson Logos are just too basic and lacking to my liking.

No need for the negativity. There is lots of us out here that love PF2.

Owen KC Stephens' Tabletop RPG Truths #4

That is very true. However quite a few of the mapmakers out there were making 5K+ way before COVID. DungeonDraft has also done pretty good for the mapmakers who do their own assets for use in it.

Owen KC Stephens' Tabletop RPG Truths #4

I think its the same reason we will spend 150$ at some home store for some crappy piece of wall art but only spend 20$ for a best selling novel. The visual is perceived as having a higher value than the written.

PF1E Pathfinder Kingmaker Definitive Edition Now On Consoles

Owen KC Stephens' Tabletop RPG Truths #4

That sucks Owen that it is so taxing on some people to make ends meet. I think the plight of the average working person not coming anywhere near a living wage in alot of industries is just the norm now.

Owen KC Stephens' Tabletop RPG Truths #4

I think in your case you have a decent base here and people that choose to support you even if they don't play your games. There is a big difference IMO between doing ok and prospering. I know nothing of the actual wages or what you make personally but I know from Owen and other developers that...
