Hmmm... after reading through this thread I feel I must be the oddball. I don’t care how big the core book is - but I want the core of the rules to be fairly small and concise. The TinyD6 games are a good example of this. Tiny Dungeons is over 200 pages, but the “rules” are only around 80 pages...

I'd never seen owlbear.rodeo before. That's kind of cool (although the lack of hex maps is an issue for me).

Need an option to give multiple responses. For games that benefit from a map and minis, I use Roll20 (its easy and does the job). For games that don't necessary benefit from maps and minis, I just use Zoom or Google Hangouts occasionally sharing my screen when I have things I need to the...

It can vary pretty wildly. I'm running one regular game right now. Two months ago I had three going at once.

If I run Discord in a web browser (instead of the client app), I actually use a different browser than what Roll20 is running in. This way, if something goes pear-shaped in one I can close and reopen the browser and not lose both sessions.

Currently, Old School Essentials. Very close to B/X, but better organize and with several of the rough spots smoothed out.

High Adventure Cliffhangers Buck Rogers Adventure Game, a Buck Rogers RPG based on the original comic strips. (Would never happen though due to the ownership of the propert)

125-ish RPG sessions, most of the filled. That’s kind of impressiv.

I’ve had the best luck with meetup.com (Which has usually involved starting up a new “Roleplaying Gamers In {your city here}” group, promoting it in groups for other nearby towns, and then waiting a few weeks.

No D&D here. Champions, Justice Inc (6th ed Hero System), and Savage Worlds. Thinking about starting up another game, and a D&D retro-clone is under consideration, or maybe Fate - depends on which the group chooses.

I think my personal favorite might actually not be Gamma World, but Mutant Future, which is a Gamma World inspired Labyrinth Lord derivative.

That Humanx book was great. I dont play GURPS, but I got a lot of game mileage out of that one.

I’m in a fuzzy grey area here. I don’t think I’ve ever used that actual phrase, but I’ll flip the question around. I will not accept “it’s what my character would do” as an excuse for being a jerk or deliberately disrupting a game.
