I don't think that anyone has ever measured this. But Tales From the Loop had 5,600 backers and Twilight 2000 had 8,000 backers and they were both considered smash hits for a RPG KS.

My guess that we may see several products in this KS. A rulebook, starter set, adventure collection and maybe even the Moria box set.

I am actually surprised that they went with a Kickstarter and not just a preorder like Alien. Its clear its going to be commercially successful.

Alvaro Tapia may be even more prevalent than Martin Grip as it sounds like his art was influential in bringing the designer and Free League together. His work in Forbidden Lands is superb.

It makes sense to me. The publisher is European like the designer, has published a licenced IP of one of the designer's top 3 IPs (Alien), and has other RPGs that have a lot in common in their approach to mechanics, setting and respect for IP property.
