Just what the title asks. If a caster casts a spell with the evil descriptor, is that an evil act? Example: Summon Monster is used to summon a creature with the fiendish template, the spell gains the evil descriptor (maybe lawful or chaotic as well but that's irrelevant to my question)...

So Open Minded immediately grants you +5 skill points. If you take it at 1st level is it included in the x4 skill points at 1st level (for a total of 20 bonus skill points)? I would rule that it doesn't but was wondering if anyone more versed in the rules than I had a RAW interpetation.

So I have a player who wants a Faerie dragon familiar and she has taken the improved familiar feat. The Draconomicon stats out a Faerie Dragon at CR6. I would like some help scaling it back to a CR 3 (I am terrible at this). I am thinking change HD from 8d12 to 4d8 and scaling back the Spell...

In PHB II the feats Bounding Assault and Rapid Blitz allow you make a 2nd and 3rd attack with Spring Attack. My question is this: Does anyone see a problem with creating 2 feats that would allow the same for Shot on the Run? Simply replace the Spring Attack requirement with Shot on the Run...

I died. (Ref post about save versus assassin's death attack) Need to roll up a 7th level character. Thinking about going with a Scout. Should I focus on ranged attacks or melee attacks? What races work well with the scout? All 3.5 WotC books allowed, maybe 3rd party on a case by case...

If an assassin uses her death attack ability on a creature with say a DR 2/ cold iron and the weapon does not posess that quality, does the DR affect the Save or die? or simply reduce the damage taken if the save succeeds? Thanks
