The rats are needed alive, because they consumed an experimental magical potion and have to be examined. The Pcs are collecting some clues about the wizards experiments...and later in a future adventure maybe they will be able to figure that every incident traces back to the first wizard who hired them. Still, he will claim he is innocent- after all, he cares about his failed experiments, or why he would have hired the PCs to get him the rats back then?</p></blockquote><p></p>
