I see that this is a chance for people that don't like the idea of 4th edition, but is it really...

3POINT75 is the only point of light in the D&D Community.

That seems to say that anyone that does look forward to 4th Edition is looking to be in the dark and that the only 'Real' option is to ignore the new edition completely?

Well actually the phrase "points of light" a term WotC's uses for safe havens surrounded in an otherwise hostile world.
3Point75 is indeed a haven for 3.x gamers who fears that the darkness in their purse becomes larger and larger, while they have shiny thingies (3.x books) in their shelves.
We think that 3.x needs some polishing, but not a complete relaunch, so that you can continue to use your tons of 3.x stuff, and have some support and friends to meet with.
