I wasn't sure if you were going archer/ranged or melee with your build, so I went with a Wild Heart Barbarian (tank build). I also have a dark elf arcane trickster ready to go though if we think that would be more useful. I'll post the barbarian to the RG for now though.

Oh, and the Barbarian is from Uthgardt, so could easily share a background with your ranger. Perhaps we met on the road on the way south.

Sounds good. Two viking-ish people who traveled far. With the mechanics of my crafter background (get goods at reduced prices) and of my skill set (insight and persuasion for negotiating deals, perception for evaluating goods, even survival for sea navigation of finding trails and avoiding natural hazards) I seem set up for the viking merchant end, so we could have sailed in from Thesk to Rashmen's trade hub capital city, say with a cargo of grains or timber to exchange in Immilmar for their famed high end crafted goods.

its what AI gave me. Most pics I've seen online look more like a cat. The funny thing is that its Str is only 1, so my character's tiny sphynx is stronger than the medium vestige!

I think the Vestige might not be entirely manifested, so it has trouble manipulating the "real" world, represented by that low STR.
