A Days of Thunder Sequel Is Coming

I did actually check the other day. Tom Cruise is twelve years older than the oldest person to ever win a NASCAR race. But riffing off my earlier comment - I wonder whether there is an extremely slim chance that Anne Hathaway does become the driver. If the big climax at the end is that Cole realizes that time has caught up to him, and then he sees Anne Hathaway and is like, "Why are you doing this? Why own a team, why engineer cars, why do literally everything but get behind the wheel? The car is right there. All you have to do is drive it." (All this being on the assumption that the movie shows beforehand she does in fact know how to drive - just that she has not been in a sanctioned race.)

I dont really remember Days of Thunder, but if your going to make a NASCAR sequel I humbly submit Taledega Nights 2 for consideration.
