Jonathan Brandis committed suicide at the age of 27. What a waste.

I think because they're still doing the toxicology workup. Or other reasons. Dunno. Layne Staley wasn't reported dead until a few weeks afterwards.

Layne Staley wasn't reported dead until a few weeks afterwards because that's when they found his body. I believe a neighbor complained about the smell. Gross, but unfortunately too common when people die in their homes and apartments.

Didn't people just kind of assume Layne Staley was dead a year or so before he actually was? Talk about wasted potential, his death was predictable but sad.

Yeah, I know I hadn't heard anything about him in a while, and then when I heard he died, I'd thought he was dead earlier.

What is it with age 27? Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, Shannon Hoon(if you want to be technical, he was 28, but he had just turned it like 2 weeks before he died), and now Jonathan Brandis.
