Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder Reveal Horrifying New Dragons

Both iconic games revealed their own horrifying dragons this week.

Looks a bit like a black dragon with maybe a template on it. Orrrr, from one of the greatest movies ever made...

I really dislike this miniature. I think my players would laugh if I put it on the table. The long neck on top of the spider legs looks top heavy and silly.

Maybe it looks better from a different angle. But I'm not betting on it.

I would add wings with the shape of spider legs, and the head with the horns would be like the AD&D version from the sourcebook "Wild Elves".

And the taxonomy of the body would be closer to the "visitors" from the remake of V

And maybe adding some touchs from the winged hive tyrant from tyranids(Warhammer 40.000).

Who would want a spider dragon? Their original creator, Jiathuli the Spider Queen, the former handmaiden of Takhisis.

Personally, I like it, and my players love that sort of thing, but I'm not really into minis. I suspect it would look better with longer thinner legs, but that would be too fragile for a mini.
