So, to my knowledge, 2025 was the first year of the Appendix N Jam. It was a big success with tons of participants and some really good quality stuff coming out of it.
It's happening again this year and I thought, why not participate! I've been wanting to write something in 2026 and I've started doing some watercolour painting again this summer.

For anyone that doesn't know what a jam is: it's an event where participants will make something in a fixed amount of time. It's quite common in video games where people will make a small games in a weekend, or a week. I've seen a few ones for TTRPG. Sometimes there's a theme, or some constraints, sometimes not.
The link above has all the information, but Appendix N is all about the pulpy influences in Appendix N. Each participant will be given a title that would fit a pulp fiction work of the 50s/60s and try to work with that to make a four A5 pages work. No constraint of system. It lasts the whole month of July.
I'll most likely be participating. I'm curious if anyone else from ENWorld will? If so, I might so a few updates and would love to see what others make of it.
