Stuff that sticks out for me:
  • Githzerai Previews
  • Domains of Dread: Monadhan
  • Fighter: Essentials (not a Class Act? I wonder what this is)
  • Campaign Workshop: The Blasphemer (new column? This could be the first of the new focus for Dungeon)
  • Bazaar of the Bizarre: Primal Items
  • DMG2 Previews
I am most curious about the Fighter: Essentials and Campaign Workshop. As well as waiting to see what is next month's PHB3 preview in the Githzerai preview :p

Editorial Calendar

The most interesting things, to me, is:

Fighter: Essentials (Curious about this)
Dungeon: Oasis of the Golden Peacock.

Just the name gets me curious. I hope it's Heroic or low paragon.

It is (its high heroic). I wrote it. I hope everyone enjoys it or at least goes easy on me if they don't, its my first published work.

Kudos to the fungus among us!

Can you tell us a little about the adventure? Just a blurb that you'd find on the back of an adventure, or something. You know, give an idea of what it's about. :)

Also info about how you got something in; that's apparently a challenging feat!

I am very disappointed we don't have any more 4E updates to the latter 3.5 books. We have two Eberron books to be adapted (Dragons of Eberron and City of Stromreach). With the 4E books out now, it's time to strike while the iron is hot.

I probably shouldn't reveal too much until the actual ToC goes up, but it does take place in an oasis!

This adventure has been in the works since September 2006. The original query was part of the slushpile that Paizo handed over to WoTC back in 2007 (if you search the Paizo forums, you'll see mentions of it when we were all discussing our pending queries), and I didn't hear anything about it until that Fall. It was originally written for 3.5e and I think the original plan was for it to appear that Spring. I contacted Chris Youngs after the 4e release and asked about a conversion, which he agreed to, and I was working on it for a lot of this Spring. Good times.

Thanks everyone for the kind words, I hope you like my adventure.

Congrats Shroomy! I take it from your comments that this will be a core adventure and not a harbinger of Dark Sun as the 2010 CS, a rumor that started almost immediately after the calendar went live.
On another note hooray for FR & EB domains!

Nice. Congratulations. And of course we will be hard and unfair on you. After all, that's what (online) friends are for, right?
