Best Adventure Idea EVER! (Snakes! On a plane!)

First Post
So I've got this adventure idea brewing... We take one of those airships from Ebberon- and an Evil Cleric PC of vermin and reptiles released a whole bunch of poisonous snakes on the airship in an attempt to kill the PCs...

The PCs will of course have to fight for their lives against the snakes on the plane... erm, airship.

I figure if it's good enough for Samuel L. Jackson, it's good enough for my campaign!

I was shocked and appalled when I first saw the trailer for "Snakes on a Plane".

Whats that noise?

Oh, its "them" scraping the bottom of the barrel.

I agree with the Op and EN thought, whats crap on the bigscreen can make for some good D&D (barring, of course, the steaming pile known as the "D&D Movie").

A big airship, that could work. Realistically though a modern plane has maybe 4 rooms (cockpit, economy, toilet, first class) and I don't see how you can stretch 2 hours of game-time out of encountering a couple of minor monsters in such a limited dungeon. Oh right... 1 hour 59 minutes of Samuel L. Jackson showing off. 1 minute of "oh my god, snakes."

The sad thing is... people will probably watch it to see just how bad it is.

I thought the sequel "The Elemental Might Not" could make a decent adventure though and it was okay as a D&D movie. (only okay, but still that's better than Jurrassic Breath Weapon).

I'm in Australia... bit behind on release dates. Won't be out here for a little while (I think). I'm still deciding whether to go or not.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if it was a great movie? Everyone just walks out with this strange expression on their face, speechless for weeks.

Alas, it's true. What makes a sucky movie makes a great D&D game. And vice versa. :D

So the movie was bad? I've been looking forward to seeing it, but didn't want to brave going to a midnight showing last night.
