Message: <blockquote data-quote="Atavar" data-source="post: 618519" data-attributes="member: 7136">Best Played By Me: Beren Ritter, 2nd/3rd Edition half-elven bard in a home-brew.  The DM in this campaign had a very detailed history/timeline for his campaign, and it inspired me to create a neat and detailed character/family background of my own that the DM was able to use well in the adventures we played.  Beren started out as the party diplomat (high Cha!) on a diplomatic mission to rally the support of the estranged dwarven and elven nations to help defend our own human kingdom from an invasion.  My use in fights wasn't that great (Str 7!), but my spells and performing played a major factor many times.  It was my most challenging role-playing experience ever and I liked how it turned out.  The campaign ended for a while with the invasion over (for now) and Beren being promoted to Ambassador to the Elves.Worst Played By Me: I liked all the characters I played, in their own way, but I guess if I had to pick one it would be Strider, my 2nd Edition ranger.  A ranger named Strider.  How imaginative.  He was still fun to play, though.Best Played in Campaign I DMed: Larkan Blackmoon, 2nd/3rd Edition elven cleric/wizard/loremaster/archmage.  Too long of a histrory to tell all, but he is the party wizard in a Planescape campaign.  He is the only character left from the beginning of the campaign; it started at 1st level and the party is now at 19th level, and Larkan is the only character that made it there all the way, no coming in late or skipping levels.  He has been through many adventures...Dead Gods...For Duty and Deity...Rod of Seven Parts...Faction War...Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil...Die Vecna Die!...and now I am running them through a high-level adventure of my own making that will likely wrap up the campaign.  Larkan is best, though, because of his player.  He roleplays very well with most any character, and I have really enjoyed watching him grow with this character.Worst Played in Campagin I DMed: I hate to bad-mouth my players, and nothing exceptionally bad comes to mind anyway, so I think I'll skip this part.  <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":)" title="Smile    :)"  data-smilie="1"data-shortname=":)" />Thanks,Atavar----------"A warrior's drink!" -- Lt.
