Best and worst RPG systems to be isekai’d to

Dungeon Crawl Classic or its ilk could be the worst. How many of us would make it through the level 0 funnel? I like the Xcrawl setting a lot but the rule set for those games are brutal.
And IMO all the better for it, but that's just me.

RE taught me that being immortal just makes you a desirable test subject for anybody with enough power and not enough morality.

That and the guy with no mouth...
I wasn’t thinking in terms of immortality. The character I described still ages. They can also still starve, be poisoned, drown, or suffocate.

But they could walk through a fire or catch a fall off of a cliff and eventually recover.

And that's precisely the reason they kept experimenting with Lisa Trevor for decades.

@Dannyalcatraz That’s right, I forgot how cheap “Life support” is in HERO! Maybe take a few points in Regeneration just so recovery from walking through that fire doesn’t sooo long.

Now if you were going to live until the heat death of the universe? Well, the good news is that you’d have a long time to figure out time travel or multiverse hopping before then!

Hmm. I’d favor a narrative-oriented system - QuestWorlds, Fate Accelerated, maybe an over the Edge. A simple and flexible system is what I need, and the ability to adapt to the setting and circumstances.

AD&D 1st edition. You might die almost immediately, but you'll have a dozen back-up characters and one of them will be an overpowered paladin.
You'll want to hold out for that Paladin, too, to dodge the flat percentage chance each month of contracting a fatal disease or parasitic infection (DMG p13).
