Best TV Season Finale (Possible Spoilers)

With season finales for my favorite shows on the way, I was thinking about some of the coolest season finales I've seen. My personal favorite had to be the Millenium season finale where Frank's wife died of the supervirus. They had the hotzone stuff at the beginning, then that whole scene where that woman trips out while they play all 10 minutes of Horses by Patti Smith, and the end where Frank watches his wife die through the window, and his hair turns white. The screen keeps bursting into static and you hear frantic news reports of people dropping dead. Amazing stuff. So what finales stand out for all of you?

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp The first-season finale for Sledge Hammer remains the absolute classic!

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp The thrid-season finale for Star Trek: The Next Generation (with the Borg) runs a very close second, which was the first "cliffhanger" season-finale in Star Trek history, and to date remains the only one I can remember that had fans discussing all summer on how it would be resolved.

3rd Seasons must just be good in general. Both ST:TNG and B5 had great endings to their 3rd seasons.

Well probably Season Finale of Angel ranks some where in there, but Star Trek's 3rd season finale yes, definately. Though I think there was one in Deep Space Nine that was equally riveting.

Top of the head-

Season 2 of Farscape. Those who have seen it know what I mean.

But my personal, all-time fav finale season ep was actually the series finale to TNG, "All Good Things." A perfect ending to a great series done right. That season 3 TNG finale was great, too but not as good as the series finale.

Another recent finale was Season 2 of Buffy. Great stuff from start to finish.

I also recall greatly enjoying many of the X-Files season finales as well as the DS9 ones. And not to go off the sci-fi/fantasy thing but there were some decent Friends finales as well...

My fav season 4 of Babylon 5. The show didn't think they would be renewed for season 5 so they through together the episode. We are all geeks here so you guys know what I am talking about.

Gee, everyone is posting Sci-fi and action series here, but in my mind the very best finale was the series finale of Newhart, where Bob Newhart wakes up in bed with Emily, his wife from his previous series, and tells her of his nightmare about being an innkeeper in Vermont.

That was a great one!

Farscape season 2....I remember yelling at the TV; "No, that be it, arrrrrrrrr." Then counting the months to the new season started.

Babylon 5 season 2 and 4, show had a lot of threads going.
