Blocking Divination

So, you're trying to accomplish your great plan of evil/good and need to hide it from the opposition's spellcasters. One good commune spell can really ruin your plan. Is there any real way to block divination spells?

Nondetection (1 hr/level) cast regularly enough to cover each party member to give 24/7 protection would stop many types of divination (divination, locate object, etc.) but not Commune (Clr5).

Would you allow the use of limited wish, wish, or miracle to help block commune-level spells?

Yes, Yes, and Yes. I hate Commune . . . unlike Piratecat, I don't think that "players should be rewarded when they ask the right questions". In my opinion, players should have to do a helluva lot more than just "ask the right questions" to unravel some puzzle or mystery. Unless you're a wussy DM, of course :).

So I'd allow those spells to work. In addition, using Commune to determine the location or plans of a Mind Blanked character should also be fruitless.

Also helps to make Commune such that real, fact-based questions are the only ones answerable. No questions like "Is the Evil Villain *planning* to attack next week?" or whatnot.

Bite me, monkey boy! :D

What you see here is a difference in DMing philosophies. Hey, where did I recently see a published spell that re-directed communes? I used an epic-level spell to do that in my own campaign, but I think I saw something a little less extreme not too long ago.
