MONTE COOK PUBLISHES NEW ELDRITCH MIGHT BOOK
The Nexus Offers 250+ New Spells, Items, and More!
November 14, 2002 (Renton, Wash.)--Monte Cook continues his popular Book of Eldritch Might series with Volume III, The Nexus, on sale today from Malhavoc Press.
Book of Eldritch Might III: The Nexus describes seven all-new magical locales, ranging from the site of a demonic invasion to a city within an everlasting storm, and even the primeval fortress where dragons first taught magic to mankind. These fully statted, stand-alone sites resonate with ancient power and introduce new mythic levels to any fantasy campaign.
Characters who travel the pathways of the Nexus can enter all these sites. Detailed treatments of the NPCs who dwell there provide a ready-made roster of allies and enemies. Plus, this arcane sourcebook includes:
* 111 new spells for spellcasters of all levels
* 45 new feats, including dozens usable by intelligent magic items
* 97 new magic items and abilities
* 19 new creatures, characters, and more!
"For fans of the previous two Eldritch Might books, The Nexus offers even more great new magical material," Monte said. "Those looking for more than just rules will find seven cool new settings for presenting the new material or to use as interesting adventure locales-or both." The first two books in the series have already sold a combined total of well over 20,000 copies in electronic and print editions.
Book of Eldritch Might III: The Nexus comes as a 96+ page, illustrated PDF file with a streamlined page design to minimize file size for faster downloading and conserve ink for quicker printing. The book features the artwork of Kieran Yanner and Sam Wood, maps by Rob Lee, and a cover from Kyle Anderson. This electronic edition, regularly priced at $11, is available now from online retailers for the sale price of only $9. Fans can sample previews of the art and new spells free at the Malhavoc Press website: <
