Boundless Endurance

I have a simple question on the Boundless Endurance power. I believe I know the answer, but I am hoping that I am wrong because my interpretation seems too weak for a daily power.

To activate Boundless Endurance you must be bloodied. If you aren't bloodied you can't gain regeneration +2. When does the power end?

1. At the end of the encounter?
2. When you are full health?
3. When you are no longer bloodied?

I believe the rules indicate 3. If that is correct has anyone house-ruled it to work as either option 1 or 2? Would that make it way too powerful for a daily power?

I just thought of a second question. Assuming that you don't have regeneration when you are not bloodied... what happens if you use the power, heal so that you aren't bloodied, but then become bloodied again next round.

Would you regain regeneration 2+Con once you met the bloodied condition again during the same encounter?

Another situation would be if you used the power at the beginning of combat knowing that you would become bloodied eventually. Does that work?

Any power with the keyword Stance lasts until the end of the encounter, or until you activate another power with the keyword Stance.

So, for Boundless Endurance:

1. You don't have to be bloodied to activate it. Its benefits only trigger on your round when you're bloodied.
2. Once you're not bloodied, the Stance remains active. As soon as you're bloodied again, you automatically have the Regeneration granted by the power.

Hope that helps!

As Refined Bean says - you don't have to be bloodied to activate it. You can activate the stance at any time.

Then at any time you dip into 'bloodied' during that encounter, regeneration kicks in until you get above bloodied again (until the end of the encounter or you use a new stance).

The maul wielding human fighter in my campaign has a Con of 18, and when he switches this on for a big fight, the Regen 6 means he ends up spending most of the fight at or about half his hit points, but rarely much less.

it is a great power, and has never regretted taking it!

Cheers

Thanks for the quick responses. I never paid much attention to the Stance keyword before. That makes a lot of sense.

On my first pass through the PHB, I skimmed over things that I thought would remain very similar to 3.5 and I realize that I skimmed over too much.
