Campaign Management Tools

For public facing online presence,
I've used Obsidian Portal
And Kanka
And World Anvil
And Google Docs
And Legend Keeper.

LK blow them all away in terms of ease of use and speed and capabilities.

For GM-facing campaign management tool:
I've used OneNote
And Scrivener
And Obsidian.md

Obsidian.md is amazing and the best tool at every level.

If Obsidian was as easy to use for player-facing info, I would say it's better than all the other tools, too.

I use this crazy newfangled device called a pen, and this other absolute cutting edge device know as a piece of paper. Then I use the pen to write notes on the paper! It's crazy!

So I gather you're one of those strange mutants that can A) Read your handwriting from one week to the next, and B) Find where you've put the physical notes in a reliable way?

I will say I am a lot less happy using Google sites since the "upgrade" a few years ago removed the "comments" widget. I could make a comment page per player for player-gm-only notes and have comments on all pages for player annotations.

But no...en$#!7iffication is the norm.

I built a campaign tracker at thread-fall.com that records the campaign during a live session - transcribes and lets you assign speakers. Tracks open quests and loose threads for the GM. Let's the GM mark entities as private and click to release - posting to a linked Discord thread, full discord integration. Plus upload your map to track where in the world the party is at a given time. I'm almost 1,400 revisions in so this is a polished product that gets it right, with a GM's touch! Would love feedback! I make updates all the time and incorporate regular feedback from players and GM users.
