Just curious if someone could recommend what set or sets of Dungeon Tiles I would need to run KotS? I normally just usea dry erase board, but we're going to give the tiles a try and we wouldn't to pick up a couple sets. Thanks!

AZRogue said:I have 4 each of every set (only 2 of the first set, though) and keep them all in a jumble in a file box. It's pretty hard to organize them so I'm afraid that I can't offer much help as to which tile sets to use, though the advise above is sound and I think any of the tile sets that feature dungeon rooms and corridors could be adapted. You don't have to be exact, just make an approximation.
As to the encounter areas, I have a flexible file folder, with different pockets. I've put together 4 areas so far, laid out on a table against black poster board, and taken a digital picture. Those tiles, along with the picture, go into one of the spaces in the file folder. When the PCs get to an area I can pull out the picture and lay out the tiles inside as shown--and I know that the folder pocket only contains those tiles I want to use.
I was going to mark treasure and creatures on the digital photo but was too lazy. They're in the module anyway.
It's a useful way to organize for quick deployment at the table. I even have ziploc bags with my minis for each encounter area, too.
